Oium (from Aujom, meaning "in the waterlands" in Gothic) was according to Getica (Jordanes), a name for Scythia, where the Goths settled after leaving Gothiscandza. Archaeologically, it corresponds to the Gothic Chernyakhov culture, and geographically to Ukraine.
